Position: RECEPTIONIST

Reports to: Office Manager

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Position Purpose: Receptionist is responsible for answering all incoming telephone calls in a professional and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - 

  • Enters data into computer system and runs necessary reports for management.
  • Greets guests promptly and determines nature of their visit.
  • Answers all incoming phone calls, directs caller to appropriate department or individual and/or takes a thorough message.
  • Directs guests to the correct department, notifies the appropriate person that a guest is waiting, and makes a proper/professional introduction.
  • Communicates with callers and guests in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner.
  • Assists with preparation of envelopes and inserting contents for mailing.
  • Maintains updated Employee List.
  • Receives all incoming express mail packages and distributes to the appropriate party.
  • Adhere to work schedule and arrive to work before your scheduled start time and be at your work station productively engaged by the scheduled start time.
  • Adhere to established dress code policy at all times.
  • Complies with all safety rules and use all appropriate safety and personal protection equipment as required.
  • Safeguard customer and Dealer information per established policies.
  • Exemplifies organizational culture and holds others in department accountable for doing the same.
  • Accomplishes all current and future tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.
  • Other related duties as may be assigned.
